Page 2 <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />Bathrooms shall be provided with artificial light and an approved <br />mechanical ventilation system capable of producing a change of air <br />every 12 minutes or a window of not less than 3 sq. ft., one-half <br />of which must be openable. (R-203.3) <br /> <br />Wood framed walls less than four feet in width at garage door <br />openings shall be provided with approved hold-down anchors. <br />Anchors are to be provided at each end of each wall segment and <br />oonnect the wall studding to the conorete foundation. AS an <br />alternate, a designed structural system to resist the required 80 <br />mile per hour wind load can be provided. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />Provide screened attic vents with a net free area of 1/150 of the <br />attic area (or 1/300 if half is along eaves and the other half in <br />the upper portion). Provide proper sized pads to support ends of girder truss. <br /> <br />A soil or waste pipe passing under a footing or through a <br />foundation wall shall be provided with a pipe sleeve two pipe <br />sizes greater than the pipe passing through. Have truss details available on jobsite for frame inspection. <br /> <br />Approval as a result of this plan review or an inspection shall not be <br />construed to be an approval of a violation of the provisions of the dwelling <br />code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction.
