November 27, APPLICANT: SITE NUMBER: CAPPING FILL SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION DETAIL SHEET 1992 HARRY THERRIEN 92-3624 Your site has been found suitable for a SAND FILTER PLUS CAPPING FILL ALTERNATIVE SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the installation of your septic system. 1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1000 gallons. The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at 450 ~allons Der day. Eased on soil conditions observed on this site, the disposal field will be sized at 45 lineal feet oer 150 qallons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum Of 135 lineal feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two {2) feet wide and on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed level (±1") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. The disposal field shall be constructed with ~al distribution with a minimum trench depth of 12 inches and a maximum trench depth of 12 inches. The capping fill material must be inspected and approved prior to placement. The fill shall be of the same textural class, or one class finer, than the native topsoil. The disposal field area must be scarified to destroy any vegetative mat on the surface. Fill material shall be evenly graded to a final depth of sixteen (16) inches over the gravel. ~appinq Fill ~stems shall be constructed between June 1 and October 1 or durinq such times when our staff finds sell moisture conditions acceptable. 4. The site must be protected from traffic, livestock, farming or other damaging activities. An effluent lift pump may be necessary to construct the disposal field in the approved area and at the correct depth. This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is proposed for a different area on the property. SPECIAL CONDITIONS= This capping fill is an integral part of the sand filter system. Construct the drainfields within the immediate area of the westerly test pit. Observe all normal setback/separation distances. THIS IS NOT A PERMIT TO INSTALL TBE SEPTIC SY~. DO NOT INSTALL ~HE SYSTEM UNTIL A VALID PERMIT HAS BERM ISSUED BY THIS OFFICR.
