August 11, 1992 <br /> <br />APPLICANT: <br />SITE NUMBER: <br /> <br />SAND FiLeR SYSTEM CONSTEUCTION DETAIL SHEET <br /> <br />WILLIAM TUCKER <br />92-1875 <br /> <br />REPLACEMENT SYSTEM <br /> <br />~our sate has been found suitable for a SAND FILTEE ALTERNATIVE SEWAGE <br />DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the <br />installation of your septic system. <br /> <br />1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1000 <br /> gallons. <br /> <br />The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at <br />300 qallons Der day. Eased on soil conditions observed on this <br />site, the disposal field will be sized at 30 lineal feet Der 150 <br />~allons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 60 lineal <br />feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- <br />ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and <br />on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 <br />feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed <br />level (±1") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. <br /> <br />The disposal field shall be constructed with serial distribution <br />with a minimum trench depth of 24 inches and a maximum trench <br />depth of 36 inches. There must be at least 12 inches of backfill <br />over the top of the gravel, measured from the natural ground <br />surface. <br /> <br />The sand filter system shall be designed and operated as per OAR <br />340-71-290 through 340-71-305. Detailed plans for the system must <br />be submitted prior to permit issuance. A building permit is <br />required if a site built concrete box is used as the sand filter <br />container. A pamphlet is available in our office which details the <br />requirements for a sand filter system. <br /> <br /> An effluent lift pump may be necessary to construct the disposal field <br />in the approved area and at the correct depth. <br /> <br />This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system must <br />be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise authorized <br />by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is <br />proposed for a different area on the property. <br /> <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS; <br /> The drainfields must be constructed as currently field staked for <br /> location. Refer to the easement (reel 974, page 119 dated July 30, 1992) <br /> which provides for a portion of the drainfield to be constructed on the <br /> adjacent lot 17. <br /> <br />THIS IS ~OT A PE~4IT TO INSTA~ TEE SEPTIC SYSTEM.
