August 11, 1992 APPLICANT: SIT~ NUMBER: SEEPAGE TRENCH SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION DETAIL SHEET WILLIAM TUCKER 92-1875 ORIGINAL Your site has been found suitable for a SEEPAGE TRENCH ALTERNATIVE SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the installation of your septic system. 1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1000 gallons. The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at 300 qallons per day. Based on soil conditions observed on this site, the disposal field will be sized at 67 lineal feet per 150 qallons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 134 lineal feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed level (±1") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. The disposal field shall be constructed with serial distribution with a minimum trench depth of 36 inches and a maximum trench depth of 42 inches. The depth of filter below the distribution pipe shall be 18 inches. There must be at least 12 inches of backfill over the top of the gravel, measured from the natural ground surface. An effluent lift pump may be necessary to construct the disposal field in the approved area and at the correct depth. This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise authorized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is proposed for a different area on the property. SPECIAL CONDITIONS: The drainfields must be constructed as currently field staked for location. This consideration is limited to a two bedroom maximum residence. Refer to the enclosed setback list which outlines minimum separation distances between components of septic systems and other features existing and proposed. The house site and dimensions have not been considered as a part of this evaluation. Placement of the house must not encumber siting and construction of the septic system as proposed. An easement has been recorded (reel 974, page 119 dated July 30, 1992) which provides for the drainfield to be constructed partially on adjacent lot 17.
