Experience in Planning, Developing, <br />and Operation of Communication <br />Sites. <br /> <br />In 1972, A.B. Herman, prihcipal of .SMR <br />Network, developed the Healy Heights <br />communication facility, in southwest <br />Portland. Today the SMR Network Healy <br />Heights Communication Site is the <br />op.e. rational point for one .h. undred and <br />thr,ty Iow pow.er communicat,on repeaters <br />serving publ,.c service, private and <br />commercial hcensees. This facility <br />accommodates conventional and trunked <br />repeater systems, microwave links, radio <br />paging, data communication transmitters, <br />and Iow power television 'station. All 800 <br />MHz, 450 Mhz, and 150 MHz repeaters are <br />combined into master antenna combiners. <br />This facility resides within fifty .re, et of a <br />densely de~elgped :<: residential <br />neighborhood without Causing significant <br />interference to the adjoining residences. <br /> <br />in 1983, SMR Network was granted a lease <br />by the Mt. Scott Water District and granted <br />a conditional use permit to develop a <br />communication facility on Mt. Scott in East <br />Pordand. This facility is the operational <br />contro! point for twenty- .~.o radio repeaters <br />operating in the land mobde two-way, data <br />communication., system, microwave, Iow <br />power telews,onserv,ces' and a GTE <br />MobileNet cellular communication site. <br /> <br />In 1984, SMR Network was granted a lease <br />from Oeschutes County to operate a <br />communication site on Aubry Butte in <br />Bend. This facility is the operational <br />location for six radio repeaters operating in <br />the land mobile two-way and control station <br />services. <br /> <br /> <br />
