890 8 TH ST, AUMSVILLE <br />December 20, 1990 <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />Marion County <br />Building Inspection <br /> <br />Plans have been reviewed for compliance with the State of Oregon <br />1990 Edition One and TWO Family Dwelling Specialty Code. <br /> <br />Approval as a result of this plan review or an inspection shall <br />not be construed to be an approval of a violation of the <br />provisions of the dwelling code or of other ordinances of the <br />jurisdiction. Reviews or inspections presuming to give authority <br />to violate or cancel the provisions of the dwelling code or of <br />other ordinances of the jurisdiction shall not be valid. <br /> <br />The grade away from foundation walls shall fall a minimum of <br />6 in. within the first 10 ft., except as restricted by lot <br />lines where the fall will be a minimum of 6 inl regardless <br />of the horizontal distance availablel (R-301.3) <br /> <br />Foundation plates shall be bolted to the foundation with <br />minimum 1/2 inch diameter by 10 inch anchor bolts embedded <br />at least 7 inches into concrete or reinforced masonry and <br />spaced not more than 6 feet apart with a minimum of 2 bolts <br />per piece with one bolt within 12 inches of the end of each <br />piece. Figure (R-303) <br /> <br />Provide at least 1 square foot of underfloor ventilation for <br />each 150 square feet of crawl space area. The openings <br />shall be covered with a corrosion resistant wire mesh. At <br />least one such opening shall be provided within 3 feet of <br />each corner of the building. (R-309.1) <br /> <br />Every sleeping room shall have at least one operable window <br />approved for emergency egress or rescue. The window sill <br />height shall not be more than 44 inches above the floor. <br />The minimum net clear opening height dimension shall be 20 <br />inches. The minimum net opening height shall be 24 inchesl <br />The minimum net clear opening area shall be at least 5.7 <br />square feet. (R-210.2) <br /> <br />Openings between the garage and residence shall be equipped <br />with solid wood doors not less than 1 3/8 inches in <br />thickness or equivalent. (R-209.1) <br /> <br />Smoke detectors shall be installed outside of each separate <br />sleeping area in the immediate vicinity of the bedrooms and <br />on each additional story of the dwelling including base- <br />ments. In dwelling units with split levels, a smoke detector <br />need be installed only on the upper level, provided the <br />lower level is less than one full story below the upper <br /> <br /> <br />
