MINUTES OF THE BOARD SESSION - Regular Meeting Thursday, October 19, 1978 lO;OQ a.m. Commissioner McCarthy and Carson present. Commissioner Heine absent. CALL TO ORDER; RECEIVE PETITION re CLOSURE OF HUDSON STREET NE AT 44TH PLACE John A. Anderson, Director of Public Works ORDERS re PLACEMENT OF STOP SIGNS (6) MOTION The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Commissioner McCarthy. A petition for traffic control on Hudson Street NE at 44th Place NE was presented to the Board, having been signed by a number of property owners in the area. Chairman McCarthy inquired of John A. Anderson, Director of Public Works, whether he had a report concerning this matter. Mr, Anderson stated this problem had been resolved by the placement of stop signs as indicated in Item 2 of this day's agenda, stopping traffic going into the north/south streets. There are six stop signs involved (see Item 2 for listing of stop signs). Mr. Anderson also indicated Hudson Street be placed on the program to be considered for construction projects next year. Six prepared orders were received from the Department of Public Works for placement of stop signs on county roads, as follows: Six (6) stop signs on Hudson Avenue NE, C.R. 7214, stopping traffic before entering the intersections of 44th Avenue NE, C.R. 7328, 44th Place NE, 7284, a~d 45th Avenue NE, C.R. 727~ One stop sign on Springtime Court NE, stopping traffic before entering Chemawa Road NE, C.R. 619. One stop sign on Happy Drive NE, stopping traffic before entering Hayesville Drive NE, C.R. 726. One stop sign on Lisa Street NE, C.R. 7~94, stopping traffic before entering Hayesville Drive NE, C.R. 726. One stop sign on Duckflat Road SE, C.R. 929, stopping traffic before entering Hunsaker Road SE, C,R. 940. Two (2) stop signs on E1 Cedro Street NE, C.R. 7447, stopping traffic before entering Greentree Drive NE, C.R, 7455, and for a private road, stopping traffic before entering Greentree Drive N~, C.R. 7455. A diagram showing the placement of each stop sign was attached to the corresponding order. Commissioner Carson moved the Board approve and sign the orders for placement of stop signs as presented by th~ Depart- m~nt of Public Works. Motion seconded by Chairman McCarthy~ So ordered,
