The major purpose of this
designation and the corresponding AR-3 (Acreage Residential
3 ACRE MINIMUM) zone is to al/ow rural homesites that are 3
acres in size. The subject 4.9 acre parcel contains
a mobile home.

Surrounding uses consist of acreage homesites to the north,
west, and south on /ands zoned AR-S (ACREAGE RESIDENTIAL S
ACHE MINIMUM). To the east on lands zoned AR~5 (ACREAGE
RESIDENTIAL-5 ACRE MINIMUM) acreage homesites also dominate
the land use pattern.

A signed Physician's Certificate has been submitted for
Alan and Mildred Coakley indicating they have medical
conditions that preclude them from maintaining a complete
separate and detached dwelling apart from their family.

The applicant proposes to place a mobile home on the subject
property to be occupied by Alan and Mildred Coakley, The
care they need will be provided by their son and daughte=-
in-law who are buyln~ the subject property and will reside
in the.existing mobile home.
The]Department of Public Works indicates that since the
mobile home ts temporary, the existing driveway should be
utilized for both residences.
