It is recommended that the agencies mentioned in
Finding .#5, below be contacted to identify restrictions or
necessary permits. The applicant is advised of the following:

The applicant should contact the Aumsville Rural Fire District
and obtain a copy of the District's Recommended Building
Access and Identification Guidelines. For personal and
property safety it is recommended that the applicant follow
these guidelines.

PROCEDtF~E= The Marion County Zoning ordinance provides that
Floodplain Development applications be considered first by the
County Planning Director. If there is any doubt that the applica-
tion conforms with adopted land use policies and regulations the
Director must condition or deny the application. Any interested
person who disagrees with the Director's decision may request that
the application be considered by the Marion County Hearings officer
after a public hearing. The applicant may also request reconsider-
ation on the basis of new information subject to signing a waiver
of the 120 day time limit for review of zoning applications.

A public hearing is held on appeals subject to the appellant paying
a $50.00 fee. Requests for reconsideration, or consideration by
the Hearings Officer, must be in writing and be received in the
Mario StreetSalem by S: O0
p.m, on ! *~ , c~L~ , ~'() .
