DELIBERATION:
On June 15, the Planning Commission held a public hearing about the proposed subdivision. Deliberations primarily
pertained to the stormwater improvements required by Marion County Land Development and Engineering (LDEP) to
address potential stormwater attenuation over the two private roadways along the eastern side of the property. The
applicant provided testimony pertaining to the conditions -of -approval and suggested several methods of addressing the
concerns. Commissioners discussed these various approaches and heard testimony from LDEP staff and the public. Three
members of the public testified regarding the stormwater issue and wells in the area and expressed concern regarding the
current stormwater management in the area. LDEP staff suggested adding a condition of approval to address stormwater
attenuation. Commissioners determined that the proposed conditions of approval with the addition of the condition
proposed by LDEP staff would be reasonable to address concerns. Concerns were also raised in regards to the availability
of adequate water in the area, however the Commission determined that based on the evidence in the records and
proposed conditions of approval that these concerns were adequately addressed. The Commission closed the public
record to written and oral testimony.
DECISION:
At the February 22, 2022 meeting, a motion was made and seconded to grant conceptual and detailed approval to
subdivide the property into 7 lots subject to the recommended conditions of approval. The motion passed on a 5-1 vote.
SIGNED AND FINALIZED THIS 2nd day of March 2022.
g7"- C---1,-.... 4 -,6,
I
By Brandon Reich
Planning Commission Secretary
Notice to Mortgagee, Lienholder, Vendor or Seller: ORS Chapter 215 requires that if you receive this Notice, it must
promptly be forwarded to the purchaser.
