Contact Paula Blomquist <br />of the District at (503) 588-6513 for information. <br />4.Transportation and Parks Systems Development Charges shall be assessed upon develop- <br />ment of the homes on the newly created parcels, at the time of application for building <br />permits. <br />5.Driveway permits will be required by Marion County Department of Public Works for any <br />new access or change in existing access to the public right-of-way. <br />6.Any utility work in the public right-of-way will require a utility permit from Public Works. <br />7.The applicants will need to contact the City of Salem for hookup requirements for sanitary <br />service. <br />8.Construction of improvements on the property shall not block historical or naturally <br />occurring runoff from adjacent properties. <br /> <br />PROCEDURE: <br /> The Marion County Zoning Ordinance provides that certain Zoning Adjustment <br />applications be considered first by the County Planning Director. If there is any doubt that the <br />application conforms with adopted land use policies and regulations the Director must condition <br />or deny the application. Any interested person who disagrees with the Director's decision may <br />request that the application be considered by the Marion County Hearings Officer after a public <br />hearing. The applicant may also request a reconsideration (one time only and a fee of $200) on <br />the basis of new information subject to signing an extension of the 150 day time limit for review <br />of zoning applications. A public hearing is held on appeals subject to the appellant paying a <br />$250.00 fee. Requests for reconsideration, or consideration by the Hearings Officer, must be in <br />writing (Appeal Form available from the Planning Division) and be received in the Marion County <br /> November 27, 2000 <br />Planning Division, 555 Court Street, Salem by 4:30 p.m. on. Please <br />note an appeal directly to the Land Use Board of Appeals is not allowed under ORS 197.830. If <br />you have any question about this application or the decision please call 588-5038 or visit the <br /> <br />County Planning Office at the above address. This decision is effective <br />November 28, 2000 <br /> unless further consideration is requested. <br />FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS: <br /> The findings and conclusions on which the Director based <br />his decision are noted below. <br />1.The subject properties are located within the Salem/Keizer Urban Growth Boundary <br />(UGB) and designated “Single Family Residential” in the Salem Area Comprehensive <br />Plan. The parcels’ RS (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) zoning is under the jurisdic- <br />tion of Marion County. <br /> <br />2.The properties are located on the west side of Jamie Lane, approximately 90 feet south of <br />its intersection with Durbin Avenue. <br /> <br />
