(b)The sale of incidental retail items is permitted provided <br />the sales of the incidental items make up no more than 25 <br />percent of the total sales of the farm stand. <br />(c)Farm stands shall not include structures designed for <br />occupancy as a residence or for activities other than the <br />sale of farm crops and livestock and does not include <br />structures for banquets, public gatherings or public <br />entertainment. <br />8.The applicant indicates the farm stand will be designed and <br />used market products grown on their nursery as well as produce <br />grown on nearby farms. Farm products sales will include <br />plants, fruits, vegetables, and Christmas trees. Other items, <br />such as nursery pots and birdhouses will be sold, however, <br />these incidental items will make up less than 25% of the total <br />farm stand sales. The stand is designed exclusively for the <br />sale of merchandise, no accommodations are being made for <br />public gatherings or residential facilities. <br />9.Based on information provided by the applicant, the proposed <br />farm stand is a permitted use in the EFU zone and is consis- <br />tent with the Marion County Rural Zoning Ordinance. <br />Craig O.
