Marion County Building Inspection <br /> Residential—2021 Oregon Residential Specialty Code(ORSC) <br /> AGRICULTURAL BUILDING does not include: <br /> (A) A dwelling; <br /> (B) A structure used for a purpose other than growing plants in which 10 or more persons are present at any one time; <br /> (C) A structure regulated by the state fire marshal pursuant to ORS Chapter 476; <br /> (D) A structure used by the public; or <br /> (E) A structure subject to sections 4001 to 4127,Title 42.United States Code(the National Flood Insurance Act of <br /> 1968)as amended.And regulations promulgated thereunder. <br /> This exemption from a building permit requirement is for the building permit only. The exemption status for this <br /> building does not apply to any other permit requirements. Electrical,plumbing,mechanical and on-site/septic permit <br /> requirements are still applicable. <br /> No recreational vehicles for personal use or other personal use of the building may be done at any time. <br /> Marion County may inspect this structure for use in the future to assure that the building is being used exclusively <br /> for farm agricultural uses only. If it is found that the building is used for any other use in the future,a building <br /> permit will be required at that time. The building will have to comply with the building code that is current at that <br /> time and be inspected to current code. <br /> This is not a complete list of code requirements—these are common correction items.
