(Note: the telephone number for the Oregon Utility Notification Center is(503)232-1987) Approval of this application is not an approval of omissions or oversights by this office or of noncompliance with any applicable regulations of local or state governments. This application was reviewed for compliance with Oregon Revised Statute 455.315 and Appendix Chapter C of the Oregon Structural Specialty Code for exempt status from a building permit for agricultural buildings and equine structures and facilities. This application is for 72' 80"Equipment and Hay Storage,and Livestock that will be used in connection with the farm operation and as such is considered an agricultural exempt building. No building permit is required for this building,located at 20384 French Prairie RD NE,St Paul,OR based on the information on the application submitted by James Milroy,Owner/Authorized Agent(s). This building is not to be open to the public for events,shows or mass gatherings. DEFINITIONS: AG EXEMPT STATUS. Agricultural buildings and equine facilities located on a farm or forest operation as defined in Appendix C of the Oregon Structural Specialty Code are exempt from building permit requirements as long as they are used exclusively for the operation of the farm,forest or equine facility. Any change of use from farm use in the future will require application for a change of use and occupancy and a building permit will be required. The building will have to be brought up to current code in effect at that time of application which may be difficult to achieve. FARM is land used for the primary purpose of raising,harvesting and selling of crops or by the feeding,breeding, management and sale of,or produce of, livestock,poultry,fur-bearing animals or honeybees or for dairying and the sale of dairy products or any other agricultural or horticultural use or animal husbandry or any combination thereof.Farm use includes the preparation and storage of products raised on such farm for human use and animal use and disposal by marketing or otherwise. Section C 101.2 AGRICULTURAL BUILDING means a structure located on a farm or forest operation:and used for: (A) Storage,maintenance or repair of farm machinery or forestry machinery and equipment; (B) The raising,harvesting,and selling of crops or forest products; (C) The feeding,breeding,management and sale of,or produce of livestock,poultry,fur-bearing animals or honeybees; (D) Dairying and the sale of dairy products; (E) Any other agricultural,forestry or horticultural use or animal husbandry,or any combination thereof,including the preparation and storage of the produce raised on such farm for human use and animal use,the preparation and storage of forest products and disposal by marketing or otherwise,of farm produce or forest products.
