EXPIRCD
Onsite Permit 555-19-005124-PRMT Page5of6
Schedule or track inspections at www.buildingpermits.oregon.gov
Call or text the word "schedule" to 1-888-299-2821 use IVR Number:555051002057
Schedule using the Oregon ePermitting Inspection App, search"epermitting"in the app store
Date issued:8/8/19 Expiration date:8/7/20
Work description: MAJOR ALTERATION TO REPLACE DAMAGED DRAINFIELD.(2-BDRM MH +2-BDRM HARDSHIP)
Conditions of approval
discharge more than 450 gallons of septic effluent per%acre per day. Pressurized distribution
systems are limited to sites with residential strength wastewater. A minimum 5-foot squirt height is
required at the remotest orifice, and no more than a 10%difference in squirt height is allowed from
the nearest to the remotest orifice in each line. Based on the soil texture in the test pits, the
required hole spacing in the pressure distribution piping will be 24 inches on center. A minimum
18-gauge minimum green tracer wire or green metallic tape must be placed along distribution
piping.
OBSERVE ALL SETBACKS AND SEPARATION DISTANCES as required by the DEQ rules. A
copy of the DEQ setback requirements is available online at
http://www.oregon.gov/deq/Residential/Pages/Onsite.aspx under Rules: Division 71: Table 1 and in
our office.
THE APPROVED SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any vehicular traffic,
livestock and farming activities. Other activities such as excavating or filling, driveway placement,
paving or other similar activities that alter the natural soil conditions will adversely affect the soil
and the septic system function and lead to premature system failure. The area must not be
subjected to excessive saturation due to artificial drainage of ground surfaces, driveways, building
downspouts or other sources. The areas of the initial septic system and the future repair system
must both be protected.
MAINTAIN PERMANENT ACCESS to septic tank for pumping and service. The septic tank
should be pumped and inspected by a licensed septic tank pumping service before sludge and
scum accumulations reach 30% of the tank liquid operating volume. Pumping every 3 to 5 years is
an average interval. The septic tank is a reservoir for the solid materials in the sewage waste
stream. Excessive accumulation of these solid materials in the septic tank will cause the solids to
wash out of the tank and into the drainfield. This will cause irreversible damage to the drainfield
and will eventually lead to a system failure.
8/8/19:11:25:38AM Page 5 of 6 ONS_OnsitePermitpr
