Uncover the header pipes, and the beginning, middle, and end of each drainline. This will
allow Marion County to determine their depth, materials, and grade.
2. Dig a test pit in an area adjacent to the existing system for evaluation (at least 10' from
any system component). This will allow Marion County to determine if the size, type, and
depth of the system is appropriate for the soils at the property.
Once these steps are complete, contact this office and an inspection will be made. If it is found
that the system as installed meets applicable provisions of OAR 340-071-0220 and OAR 340-071-
0215, a repair permit consistent with the existing system may be issued and the system can be
authorized for reconnection. Otherwise, the system will be required to be repaired or replaced.
This authorization notice application cannot be approved at this time per OAR 340-71-
0205(4)(c).
