49930 N Santiam Hwy SE SITE VISIT REPORT
Idanha, OR 97350-9503 State Farm Claim No. 37-11K4-75P
8. ASPHALT DRIVEWAY
As discussed above under PROPERTY DESCRIPTION, according to the Marion
County Assessor, the asphalt driveway has an area of 5,450 sq.ft. It appears to have
been part of the same 2003 building permit as the house, based on County property
records. However, the Policyholder believes that the driveway was constructed in
2009. It is feasible that the driveway was permitted in 2003, was constructed in
2009, but did not require a new permit. This would also be consistent with observing
the driveway to be in good condition overall, with the exception of three specific
areas, which are discussed below in detail.
For reference and discussion purposes, there are three different 'Zones' of
damage: the Upper Cracks, the Lower Cracks, and the Burn Spot. There are two
• separate cracks within the "Lower Cracks" Zone, but they are similar in appearance
and likely similar in cause. [See Figure 83 below for a plan view of the driveway.
The yellow lines are a very rough approximation of the cracking and estimates of
their locations, which are difficult to determine given landscape features being very
different now than they were when the photo was taken.]
,1161
Blue lines indicate
ed.es of drivewa
L•WER
CRACKS
'ellow lines indicate
?( pprox(very rough)
-xtent of cracking
[NOT TO SCALE'
:URN
SPOT
•
Aerial Photo C••c
Brandi Taylor,
DRIVEWAY PLAN [FIGURE 83]
Report Date: March 28, 2021 Page 33 of 44
Site Visit Date: March 6, 2021 Taylor& Syfan Consulting Engineers, Inc.
