A copy of this appraisal <br /> conducted by Pacific Residential Mortgage and Brady Steerman is attached to the e-mail containing this form. The <br /> Opinion of Value on the appraisal was $398,000. This was the value used to provide us terms for our mortgage. We were <br /> therefore unpleasantly surprised when asked to add additional cash for taxes after our mortgage closing due to the <br /> county's assessment that was very significantly higher. I could only wish that the two disagreeing appraisals were <br /> reversed, however it seems quite unjust for us to be doubly disadvantaged by these widely varying assessments. On the <br /> one hand we received less favorable refinance terms and on the other we also have much higher than expected property <br /> taxes. We understand that we are pioneers in the ADU development and ask that our Real Market Value be reduced to <br /> reflect the evidence given to us in the appraisal from Pacific Residential Mortgage as conducted and signed by Brady <br /> Steerman.
