Recommends <br />appropriate courses of action based on extensive evaluation and analysis of respective <br />program effectiveness. This classification fulfills the primary responsibility of coordinating and <br />monitoring of resources to improve the quality of client services. Incumbents possess <br />backgrounds of specific preparation in the appropriate discipline. Assignments are performed <br />without close supervision. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br />Works under the general direction of assigned management personnel. <br />SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br />Supervision is not a responsibility of this classification; however, incumbents in this <br />classification may exercise lead responsibilities over one or more employees engaged in <br />closely related duties. <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />1.Plans, organizes and conducts studies of program effectiveness to evaluate assets, <br />deficiencies, and utilization. <br />2.Plans and develops program descriptions, measurements, strategic plans, policies, <br />procedures, budgets and systems; monitors operational details of program. <br />3.Recommends policy goals and objectives for program area, interprets policy and <br />procedures, assures compliance, monitors non-compliance and takes appropriate <br />corrective action. <br />4.Makes recommendations to increase effectiveness of existing program(s) and <br />methodologies based on assessment, relevant literature and research. <br />http://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecI...11/23/2020 <br /> <br />
