Perform a variety of general office and administrative <br />support tasks. May also perform other duties as required. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br />Work under direct supervision of the Business Services Adminstrative Services Manager, who <br />determines workload, priority of orders and service in relation to other functions in the distribution center. <br />SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br />Supervision of other employees is not a responsibility of positions in this classification. However, <br />incumbent train other staff to cover during absences, as required. <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />1.Pick up incoming U.S. mail from post office, sort by department, and deliver. <br />2.Pick up and deliver interdepartmental and other public agency mail. <br />3.Operates motor vehicle; perform safety checks on vehicle (i.e. lights, brakes, fluids, tires); <br />schedule tune-ups and repairs. <br />4.Prioritize workload; meet daily time frames. <br />5.Perform basic clerical functions to support administrative support staff. <br />6.Pick up and delivers surplus property to county departments upon request. <br />MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: <br />EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING <br />1.High school diploma or equivalent; AND <br />2.One (1) year mail room, courier or general office experience; OR <br />3.Any satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience relevant to the <br />position. <br />http://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecI...10/12/2020 <br /> <br />
