Teams consist of <br />various IT personnel based upon project requirements. Communicates and collaborates with county <br />leadership and customers to determine project scope and priority. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br />Works under the general direction of an IT or Program Manager, who assigns work, establishes goals <br />and reviews the results for overall effectiveness. <br />SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br />Supervision of other employees is not a responsibility of this classification; however, acts as a lead over <br />technical projects. Supports project team members to ensure work is being performed in a timely and <br />effective manner by monitoring workflow, conducting training, and offering technical expertise. <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />1.Provides oversight, technical expertise, and support to applications, systems, technical and <br />analytical staff. <br />2.Directs the daily work of project teams in the performance of their duties on a department-wide <br />basis with awareness of countywide impact. <br />3.Reviews projects to identify scope and needed resources. Develops plan in consultation with <br />stakeholders; identifies objectives and deliverables; selects and utilizes project management tools <br />and techniques to accomplish goals and objectives. <br />4.Develops work breakdown structures, network diagrams, project schedules and cost estimates. <br />Recommends project budgets. Identifies potential risks and challenges, and designs strategies to <br />mitigate or avoid them. <br />5.Identifies project teams, roles and responsibilities and assigns work tasks. <br />6.Oversees contractors and suppliers. Follows contracting guidelines to develop statements of <br />work. Obtains bids from contractors or suppliers.
