NFIRS-1S Supplemental
A
00321 11 OR 1106 I 120 112019 I I S08)atiI I ton 08 SMF201906200036 0
lI I I
FDD Sttce Month
Dab ':ear SI a; !lumbar
Exposurp
Primary Narrative:
Dispatched to a report of a house fire-fully involved. Caller(occupant)states that she fell asleep in the back bedroom with
a tit cigarette in her hand and awoke to the mattress on fire. She attempted to drag the mattress out of the home, but
flames grew too big and she exited the structure. First arriving units found a single wide mobile home with moderate fire and
heavy smoke throughout. Fire extension was throughout 2/3 of the structure with smoke and water damage to the entire
structure. Extensive overhaul performed and
Red Cross called for occupant. PGE reports that the power had been turned off to the home for some time. The occupants
had been using a car battery and an inverter to power lights. Home owner is in a nursing home and does not currently reside
there.
Additional Narrative(#1 of 1):
I was requested to the scene to assist in the Origin and Cause investigation. In route to the scene I was contacted by
Command BC Kyle Amsberry who informed me that the on scene crews determined the fire and I was no longer needed.I
informed him I was almost there and would come by and take photos to document the scene. Those photos will accompany
this report.
Jeff Mack
Deputy Fire Marshal
