System plans are approved as revised. Refer to <br /> approved plans dated February 7, 2019. Any deviation from the approved <br /> plans must be authorized by this office prior to installation or the permit may be <br /> voided. It's the responsibility of applicant/installer to coordinate these <br /> requirements with all others in OAR 340-071-0220. <br /> This permit is for a system designed to serve a single family dwelling with a <br /> maximum of 4 bedrooms. Peak sewage flow into the system is limited to a <br /> maximum of 450 gallons per day, with an average sewage flow of not more <br /> than 225 gallons per day. Premature failure of the treatment system may <br /> occur if either of these flow quantities is exceeded. If, for some reason, you <br /> expect your domestic household water use may exceed these flows, it is <br /> advisable to increase the size of the treatment system. <br /> Specific Requirements: <br /> EFFLUENT SEWER: The effluent sewer is the pipe from the septic tank to the <br /> distribution box. The material required is 3034 or Schedule 40 pipe with <br /> 18-gauge minimum green tracer wire or green metallic tape placed along the <br /> pipe. The effluent sewer shall extend at least five (5) feet from the tank. There <br /> must be a minimum difference of eight (8) inches between the invert (flow line) <br /> of the septic tank outlet and the invert of the drop box outlet. In Serial <br /> Distribution there must be two (2) inches of fall between the septic tank outlet <br /> and the drop box inlet. <br /> HEADER PIPE between Distribution Box and drainfield trench must measure a <br /> minimum of 4 feet, must be installed level, and bedded on undisturbed earth. <br /> TANK RISER: The tank must be installed with watertight risers extending to <br /> the ground surface or above.
