System plans are approved as revised. Refer to approved plans dated July 18,2017. Any deviation <br /> from the approved plans must be authorized by this office prior to installation or the permit may be voided. The required <br /> inspection schedule is attached to this permit. It's the responsibility of applicant/installer to coordinate these requirements with <br /> all others in OAR 340-071-0220. <br /> This approval is for a system designed to serve a single family dwelling as a reasonable repair per OAR 340-071-0215(4)(b). <br /> Peak sewage flow into the system is limited to a maximum of 450 gallons per day,with an average sewage flow of not more <br /> than 225 gallons per day. This is normally sufficient to serve a single family dwelling with a maximum of four bedrooms. <br /> Specific Requirements <br /> ATT Pretreatment Unit: AX20-RTUV as per approved attached plan. <br /> SERVICE CONTRACTS: The owner of an ATT system must maintain a service contract with a maintenance provider certified <br /> by the manufacturer to serve and maintain the onsite system. A service contract must be entered into before the system is <br /> installed and must be maintained until the system is decommissioned. The service contract must provide for a minimum of <br /> four inspections and service visits by a maintenance provider scheduled once every six months over a two-year period to <br /> inspect,adjust, and service the ATT. The septic tank must be pumped before solids reach 30%of the tank liquid operating <br /> level.The maintenance provider must submit an annual report and fee. Please review OAR 340-071-0345 for full <br /> requirements. - <br /> ANTI-BUOYANCY is required for septic tank and ATT Pod installation at this site. See manufacturer's specifications for <br /> anti-buoyancy. <br /> ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS ARE REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION OF THIS SEPTIC SYSTEM. Detailed instructions for <br /> dosing tank/effluent pump installations are available in our office. The electrical wiring to the pump and alarm must be installed <br /> in accordance with the appropriate Electrical Code. The electrical work must be done under a Marion County Electrical <br /> Permit and must be inspected and approved by a Marion County Electrical Inspector. The work must be left uncovered <br /> and accessible for inspection. The electrical inspection includes the connections to the pump and alarm in the dosing tank,the <br /> wiring in the trench and the connections in the structure. <br /> TANK RISER: The tank must be installed with watertight risers extending to the ground surface or above. The riser lid must <br /> be gasketed and securely fastened. MAINTAIN PERMANENT ACCESS to septic tank for pumping and service. <br /> PRESSURIZED DISTRIBUTION systems are installed in soils with excessive amounts of sand and gravel in the soil profile. In <br /> areas of permanent water tables,these systems shall not discharge more than 450 gallons of septic effluent per%acre. <br /> Pressurized distribution systems are limited to sites with residential strength wastewater. A minimum 5-foot squirt height is <br /> required at the remotest orifice,and no more than a 10%difference in squirt height is allowed from the nearest to the remotest <br /> orifice in each line. Based on the soil texture in the test pits,the required hole spacing in the pressure distribution piping will be <br /> 36 inches on center. A minimum 18-gauge minimum green tracer wire or green metallic tape must be placed along all piping. <br /> CAPPING FILL SYSTEMS MAY ONLY BE INSTALLED FROM JUNE 1ST TO OCTOBER 1ST or during such times when <br /> the Building Inspection Onsite Wastewater staff finds soil moisture conditions acceptable. See the attached"CAPPING FILL" <br /> " information sheet for instructions.
