The proposal is to partition 2 acres of this 4.14 acre parcel, leaving 2.14 for parcel 1 and a new lot consisting of 2.0 acres. This review is for the 2.14 acre parcel with the existing dwelling. Marion County records indicate that the system serving this property was installed in 1986 under permit number 86-881. It consists of a 1000 gallon tank and 375 linear feet of drainline. The system was inspected and pumped as part of the partition process on May 2, 2018. Please refer to file number 555- 18-003859 for further information. THIS RECORD REVIEW IS BASED ON THE INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY THE APPLICANT. Please refer to the signed site plan dated May 6, 2019. THE SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any vehicular traffic, livestock and farming activities. Other activities such as logging, excavating or filling, driveway placement or any similar activities may also damage the soil in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval. The areas of the initial septic system and the future repair area must both be protected. THE SEPTIC TANK SHOULD BE PUMPED AND INSPECTED by a licensed septic tank pumping service approximately EVERY FIVE (5) YEARS. The septic tank is a reservoir for the solid materials in the sewage waste stream. Excessive accumulation of these solid materials in the septic tank will cause the solids to wash out of the tank and into the drainfield.
