Duerr,EHST, Onsite Wastewater Specialist SEPTIC SYSTEM RECORD REVIEW This record review was conducted in conjunction with Property Line Adjustment Case number 18-020. The proposal is to shift land between Parcel 1 (071 W06A 00800) and Parcel 2 (071 W06A 00700) to create a 1.66 acre lot and a 6.35 acre lot. This review is for Parcel 1. The Marion County file records have no information as to the size or the location of the existing septic system serving this property. The applicant has indicated the location of the system on the site plan submitted. THIS RECORD REVIEW IS BASED ON THE INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY THE APPLICANT._ Please refer to the signed site plan dated April 2, 2019. THE SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any vehicular traffic, livestock and fanning activities. Other activities such as logging, excavating or filling, driveway placement or any similar activities may also damage the soil in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval. The areas of the initial septic system and the future repair area must both be protected. THE SEPTIC TANK SHOULD BE PUMPED AND INSPECTED by a licensed septic tank pumping service approximately EVERY FIVE (5) YEARS. The septic tank is a reservoir for the solid materials in the sewage waste stream. Excessive accumulation of these solid materials in the septic tank will cause the solids to wash out of the tank and into the drainfield.
