The trenches and <br /> perforated pipe are installed level (+/- one inch) and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. <br /> THE ATTACHED ORANGE CARD MUST BE POSTED AT THE COUNTY ROAD prior to requesting an inspection. The card must be <br /> located near the driveway to the property to assist the inspector in locating the access onto the site. <br /> OBSERVE ALL SETBACKS AND SEPARATION DISTANCES as required by the DEQ rules. The well placement is especially <br /> critical and must be located at least one-hundred (100) feet from the approved initial and replacement DRAIN <br /> FIELD areas. A copy of the. DEQ setback requirements is available in our office. <br /> THIS SYSTEM MUST BE INSPECTED AND APPROVED PRIOR TO BACKFILL. When work is complete and ready for inspection, <br /> call our Automated Inspection Request line at 373-4427 to request an inspection. Enter the number "801" for a <br /> PRE-COVER Inspection. You may leave a message for the inspector if desired. Be sure the System Record form with <br /> the AS-Built drawing is on the job or in our office when the inspection is requested. An inspection should be <br /> completed within seven (7) days. <br /> THE APPROVED SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any vehicular traffic, livestock and farming activities. <br /> Other activities such as logging, excavating or filling, driveway placement or any similar activities may also <br /> damage the soil in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval.
