Performs other related duties as required. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br />Works under the supervision of a department head or his/her designee. <br />SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br />May provide leadership and direction to assigned support staff in relation to special projects or <br />assignments. <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />1.Performs a variety of professional management assignments of a department-wide scope, <br />including analysis of fiscal, administrative, and operational activities; provides community <br />information and interdepartmental coordination. <br />2.Conducts and/or coordinates varied and complex management improvement studies and makes <br />recommendations to department head and department management. <br />3.Consults with the department head and department management in recommending and <br />establishing policies concerning the department. <br />4.Administers special departmental programs of a limited scope. <br />5.Studies departmental records management and control; makes recommendations to management <br />team. <br />6.Assists in conducting departmental evaluation studies of specific agency programs and presents <br />results orally and in written reports. <br />7.Prepares, negotiates, administers and monitors contractual services agreements; serves as liaison <br />with service providers. <br />8.Oversees administrative projects; facilitates agreement with project participants regarding <br />assignments and ensures completion of work within agreed upon time lines. <br />9.Conducts surveys, studies and investigations; prepares recommendations for proposed changes <br />including their estimated fiscal and organizational impact. <br />10.Interprets pertinent laws and governmental and departmental regulations to the public in person <br />and through correspondence; resolves difficult public relations problems. <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/3/2020 <br /> <br />
