<br />Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />Case Aide <br />Class Code: <br />141 <br />Bargaining Unit: 06 - Marion County Employees <br />Association <br />MARION COUNTY <br />SALARY RANGE <br />$18.67 - $25.02 Hourly <br />OVERVIEW: <br />FLSAEEOCDepartment <br />: Non-Exempt : 05 Paraprofessionals : Sheriff <br />GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES <br />This classification serves to assist deputies with a variety of duties related to the supervision and <br />management of justice involved clients. Conducts interviews, prepares reports, maintains chronological <br />case histories, and provides general operations support and other duties as assigned. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br />Works under the direct supervision of sworn staff, or other assigned position of a higher classification, <br />who assigns duties and reviews work for conformance to Office standards. <br />SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br />Supervision of other employees is not a responsibility of positions in this classification. <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />1.Conducts personal interviews with the client, their family members, employers, law enforcement <br />agencies, court staff, civic groups, public agencies and treatment providers, under the direction of <br />certified, supervising deputies, as they pertain to the individual clients. <br />2.Monitors client behavior in the participation and compliance with programs as ordered by the <br />courts and supervising deputy. <br />3.Prepares reports and maintains chronological case histories as directed by the courts and sworn <br />staff. <br />4.Assists in maintaining order in the office; assists in keeping supplies stocked. <br />5.Conducts criminogenic risk & need assessments, with corresponding case plan and monitoring, as <br />directed. <br />6.Performs clerical duties of supervising deputy or other staff. <br />7.Conducts criminal history checks through the Law Enforcement Data System and the Department <br />of Motor Vehicles. <br />8.Utilizes various information systems, such as GroupWise, Lock & Track, OJIN, ISIS, Word, MCSO <br />Intranet and the Internet. <br />9.Secures urinalysis samples and oral swab samples from clients as directed by a court staff or <br />deputy. <br />10.As approved by a sergeant or above, accompanies certified deputies while they supervise clients <br />in the community. <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/3/2020 <br /> <br />
