Issues all items to sworn and <br />nonsworn Office staff. Maintains records of disposal and/or destruction and performs other related duties <br />as required. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br />Works under the supervision of an administrative manager, who assigns works, establishes goals and <br />reviews results for overall effectiveness. <br />SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br />Supervision of other employees is not a responsibility of positions in this classification. <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />1.Orders, receives, issues and inventories Sheriff's Office related provisions (e.g., uniforms, duty <br />gear, officer badges, name patches, name tags, etc.). <br />2.Records the issue and return of uniforms and equipment for all divisions of the Sheriff's Office and <br />maintains accurate database of all issued and returned items. <br />3.Maintains and updates Policy Spread Sheet for approved uniform items by classification/Rank and <br />discipline. <br />4.Issues and tracks department keys, keycards, and identification. <br />5.Issues and tracks cell phones, cell phone accessories, and air cards. Coordinates deployment <br />and troubleshooting of cell phones and aircards with IT staff and division lieutenants. <br />6.Coordinates departmental inventory and tagging of capital and personal property. <br />7.Maintains alpha numbers and assigns officer badges as needed; notifies dispatch of alpha <br />numbers assigned or changed. <br />8.Obtains written/verbal quotes from vendors. <br />9.Researches products and suppliers for keeping up with local and national law changes in regard to <br />public safety equipment. <br />10.Coordinate requisition process for uniforms and accessory items. <br />11.Performs other duties as requested. <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/4/2020 <br /> <br />
