The Contractor shall provide personnel air monitoring for OSHA c~mpliance. The dwner or Owners represeniative shall provide manitoring clearance testing as required. The contractor shal( nolify the Owner or dwners representative ~~ h~urs in advance of the time that test services are needc;ci to allow adeyuate scheduling of equipment and personnel. 2. If the Contracior fails to meet final clearance standards, the Contractor shall re-clean the work area to meet such standards. Casts incurred by the qwner or Owners representative for re-testing of final clearances shall be deducted from the sums originally due the Conlractor. l .04 BASEIVIEN'T ~~90L'AL A- Perform excavation work in a systemalic manner as necessar_y to safely completely demolish and remove basements and basement walls inclpding apgurienances related to and connected thereto. g. Debris, inciuding masonry, concrete, metals and similar matenals shall become property of Contractor and shall be disposed of of~ the site by the Contractor. To the extent practical, provide for separate sorting ~f demt~lit?~n d~bn_s for rPcyC~lIlb and resc~ur~e ~eCnS~?.*~t. C. Shoring, Sheeting and Bracing: Maiotain angles of repase fc~r banks and excavations over five feet deep to pratect workers. Extend shoring and bracing to the bottom of the excavation. Shoring slopes angles shall be in compliance with applicable OSHA standards. D_ Any petroleum impacted soi( encountereci during excavation shall be stockpiled on site. Stockpiles shall be iined, burmed and cavered usin~ 6 millimeter plastic_ E. Cleanup: On completion of this section, anci after removal of all debris, leave site in clean condition satisfactory to the Owner or the Qwner's representative. Dispose of all items and materials not required to rem~un property of Marion County as weli as aII dcbris and ruhbish from dernolition operations. F. Upon campletion of this section, Contractor shall smoc~t6 or ~,~rade all ground surfaces where applicablc. 1.05 RECYCLFNG A. Recycling levels shall be maintaine~l at 90%.
