'fhese partnerships give Cisco's cx,stomers access to an ever- <br />increasing number of dwices for servicing and suppcrting their networks in addition to havfng ci+rect <br />contact wikh corporate aa:ount managers and system engineers. <br />AN of Gisco's partners are pre-qual~ied based on Cisco's high siandard ivr service delivery. in <br />aridition, to ensure the cansistent delivery af world-class support, and to tecognize its partners' level <br />of ~~ertise, Cisco has developed sevsral certification pragrams. <br />The Cisco Channel Certificatfon Program is d~vided ir~to three cettification levels: Gold. Silver and <br />Premi~r. Cett~fied partners must meet spe~ific support delivery criteria to achieve these ce-tifica~on <br />fevels. Cisco has established three requirement categoriss that its partners must meet to become a <br />Cisoo Certified Channel Partner. <br />• Cisco Sa/c-~. Nehnnork pesign and Supp~vtt Tr~ining. Selected members of Cisco's partners <br />sales, pre-sales and post-sales support staff must complete a full spec~trum of training dasses to <br />become individually certified. <br />• CClE. Staff members must become Cisoa Certified Intemetwork Experts (CC1E's) by <br />successfully compfeting rigorous wr~ten and labaratory examinations. This is,a requirement for <br />Gald and Silver certificat~on only. <br />• Resaurce assessment. We atso assess the support and service resources that Cisco's partners <br />provid~ its customers to ensure that they meet speciFic standards. <br />Each partner must maintain the requfred levels of Sales, Networlc Design and Support Training, and <br />GCIE to retain fts cer#ification Atlditior~al requirements for SilvEr and Premier certification are as <br />follows: <br />Silver . One Sa1es Expert and one Suppott F~ert on staff for every mflfion <br />dollars worth of Cisco purchases per site serv~ing a 20o mile radfus. <br />• Demonstrated ability to respond to customers' concems regarding all <br />aspects of selling, supporting, and servici~g Cisco products. <br />• At Ieast two CCIEs in each country af certifieatian. <br />• 8x5 pFwne and on-site support. <br />Premier . ~ne Ciscv Cettified Design Specialist (CCDS) <br />• One SalesPrv and vne SupportPro <br />• 8x5 phone support <br />• Four hou~ customer response capabllity <br />Tc ensure th~t tt-e Eugene Schoal District (and othsr qaslifl~d Education entFties entitled to <br />purchase off an awarded RFP) will receive the ut~ast service, support and quick acquisition <br />ot Cisco praducts, Cisco Systems has partnered with the following Cet~tiFed partr-ers.
