SEP.1~.19y~ l~~~Sa~~ NO.~i~ P.16i19 ~ County or Transit District, as c.he case may be, shall be extended for the period of the unavoidable delay; provided, that the pxrty seeking the benefit of the provisions of this section sha11, within threc (3) business days after the party b~comes aware of or unavoidable delay, have first notified che other party chereof in writing of tl~e caus~ or causes thereof and the estimated time of coKrection. Any actiun or failure to act by a party pursuanT to this Agreement wUich is not due to unavoidabla delay shall not excuse the p~rformance hereunder by that Party. 7.2 Conflicts af Intcres~ (i) Publie Conflicks. No member official, or employee of the County or Transit District sha11 have any personal interest, direct or induect, in tlus Agreernent, nor shall any such member, official, or employee pazticipate in any decision relating to this Agreement whfch affecu his personal int~rests or the interest of any corporadon, partnership, or association in which he is, directly or induectiy interested. (ii) Public Of"~eia] Liability. No member, official ar employee of County or Ttansit district shall be personally liable to a Private Party in the event of any default or breach by the Counry or Transit District or for any amount which may become due to a Private party on any obligstions under the terrns of this Agreement, 7.3 D9scrimination. The Parcies will not discriminate aga.inst any employee or applicant for employment because of rac~, color, religion, ag~, sex, marital status, handicap or national origin, respect to the performance of their respective obligations under this Agreement. 7.4 Notice.
