The <br />parties recognize, however, that the General Manager shall devote <br />, whatever time is necessary to accomplish his responsibilities. <br />' 8. Automobile. The District will reimburse <br />automobile expenses by car allowance of $150.00 per month in lieu <br />' of mileage reimbursement. <br />9. General Expenses. The District shall reimburse the <br />i General Manager for expenses ~f a non-personal and generally job- <br />~ related nature which are incurred, except those related to <br />automobile use, upon receipt of expense vouchers, receipts, <br />~ statements or personally written justification request. The <br />General Manager is authorized to expend District funds in the <br />' execution of District business and in representing the District at <br />conferences and otherwise, to purchase materials for recognition of <br />~ employees or volunteers, and to incur travel and lodging expenses <br />~ in the conduct of District business. - <br />10. Dues and Subscriptions. The District will pay for <br />~ professional dues and subscriptions appropriate for the General <br />Manager's full participation in appropriate associations and <br />, organizations necessary and desirable for professional <br />' participation, growth and advancement, and to improve his <br />performance of duties as General Manager. <br />' 11. Professional Development.
