6-27 MMDC inquired whether PGE has been apprised of the electrical needs o~ the project e.g. <br />power requirements and availability of services. Leonard indicated that P~E has been <br />involved from the beginning and there is no indication of a problem with Gapacity. Rev. <br />7-3 Dan inquired whether Civil has confirmed adequacy of services for bther utilities, <br />i.e. gas, water. Byron wanted to know whether we had anything in writin regarding <br />PGE's commitments, e.g. transformers. Leonard was not aware of anythi~g in writing in <br />this regard ACTION: Leonazd to confirm with Westech on other service~ and Interface <br />on commitments. <br />7-3 R.G. inquired about natural gas incentives. Byron indicated the project wquld use <br />substantial natural gas. ACTION: R.G. to contact his contact at the gas cdmpany. <br />7-3 Byron expressed concern with the number and size of riser locations. Dan', asked whether <br />either the County or Transit would require "clean" . Neither Randy nor R.G. felt this <br />would be necessary. Leonard concurred. ' <br />7-3 David confirmed that there is no money earmarked for a security system. ~CTION: <br />Leonard will contact Bill McCune to get definition on security requiremen~s so it can be <br />included in the Total Project Cost. <br />7-3 Byron expressed concern with the lack of coordination between the Count~i, Transit, <br />Leonard and Dave on data communications. <br />Demolition <br />7-3 Kathleen reminded development team members of hardhat and check-in prbcedures <br />7-3 Leonard inquired about status of site after Staton is complete. Leonard wa~ted to know <br />where to start the specifications. Kathleen informed the group that three ft. of the puildings' <br />walls would remain to prevent water from seeping. Curbs will remain in place but~, the sidewalks <br />and asphalt will be gone. Approx. 35% of the site will have basements remaining~ <br />Architectural <br />7-3 Ron expressed concern with size and number of restrooms. R.G. expressec~ concern with <br />distance from lease space. ' <br />NEW ISSUES <br />Materials Testing <br />7-3 Randy was not aware who the County typically uses for materials testing. ~-Ie would <br />prefer that this be bid anyway. ACTION: Leonard and Dave will prepare a scopje as part of <br />the specifications. MMDC to solicit bids. <br />Heliport <br />7-3 This potential component of the project won't fly. <br />~ <br />
