Marion County Facilities Master Plan <br />3.0 PLAN B <br />PLAN B: VACATE FRANKLIN AND SENATOR BUILDING INTO A NEW <br />SERVICES BUII~DING/CONSOLiDATE LEASED SPACE <br />The basis of this plan is to consolidate County services to operate more effectively. <br />The construction of a new Public Services Building to meet future expanded space <br />needs. The site for this proposed facility is the Senator Block which is currently <br />owned by the County. Phase I(year 2003) would be constructed on the south east <br />corner of the block and will require demolishing of the Beri Building. Phase II (year <br />2013) will expand the Public Services Building northward along the eastern portion <br />of the block requiring demolition of the Ticor Building.
