From: PEGGY MITCHELL
Ta~ M-LEGAL(MHANSEN)
Date: 10/13/98 11:56am
Subject: Courthouse Square--Basic Documents -Reply
I believe the documents you are describing below will be needed eventually. The information we are collecting by
this Thursday is for the official statement portion of the financing that Preston Gates 8~ Ellis will be preparing for us.
According to the list of documentation requirements that was given out at the meeting in Portland last week, one of
the requirements is: authorizing resolution of the governing body. Sounds like what you listed below would fit in
this category.
As far as I know they are not needed yet, but will be shorty
Thanks,
Peg
I now know where to obtain them.
»> MICHAEL HANSEN 10/13/98 09:41am »>
Pe99Y.
There are a number of documents considered basic to establishing the authority of Marion County to issue COPs.
Although I have not been asked by anyone to obtain these, I have anticipated that need. I have in my possession
copies of these documents cert~ed by the Marion County Clerk:
1. Names and terms of inembers of the BOC
2. Name of recording secretary of BOC
3. Copy of minutes and copy of order where BOC Chair appointed
4. Copy of order designating Statesman-Journal as paper of general
circulation
5. Copy of ordinance no. 632 showing date, time and place of BOC
meetings.
If you want these, let me know. I'll deliver them to you. Otherwise I will hold them until called for.
CC: BWasson
