I hope you had memorable holidays and a well deserved
opportunity to relax and enjoy yourself.
Now that we have the Courthouse Square project safely financed at rates we wouldn't have
dreamed of two years ago, I wanted to drop you a note to tell you how important I think your
contribution was and to express my appreciation for your help in achieving a successful result.
This was certainly one of the most challenging projects in my 35-year career. The financial side
was actually pretty straightforward, but both the business and interpersonal aspects were as
complex as I've seen. Your leadership, in stepping into a chaotic situation, taking control and
directing the review and recovery, has been truly impressive.
I know the "real work" is just beginning, but it will occur on a foundation that didn't exist before
your involvement and will be successful because that foundation is in place. I don't know how
Randy found you hiding away there in Corrections, but I'm very glad he did!
All right, enough already, I just wanted to say thanks for your vast contribution and note that the
money wouldn't be in the bank today without your help.
Best wishes for a successful, happy and healthy 1999.
Sincerest Regards,
Scott lements
Member of the Associaiion for Investment Management and Research
Member of the Financial Analysts Federaiion
~ ~~
~ ~ c~'`~
~°~`
