Do you know what date the number was
established?
If the number was based on our expenses, spreadsheet indicate as of June 30, 1997 we had expenses of $2,476,446. As
of September 30, 1997 we had expenses of $2,678,070. This represenis bills paid and does not identify what portion of
expensesto date we owe SAMTD or they owe us.
If the number was based on funding sources that we did not have to repay, we had the followingfunding as of June 30,
1997:
140 Fund $ 19,400
170 Fund $ 109,867
105 Fund
SAMTD Purchase of
Property $2,228,689
Lottery $ 232,000
Interest $ 4,504
As of 6/30/97 Subtotal $2,594,460
As of 8/31/97 Lottery $ 227,031
Total $2,821,500
Money from Solid Waste has to be repaid. Reimbursement from Chevron is used for the Chevron clean up.
My notes show I submitted spreadsheets to Melvin Mark when they were doing the first draft of the performa. Then Fiscal
Services was asked to give SAMTD a spreadsheet for total expenditures. Then a auditor was hired. He made about a$4k
or $5k error and subsequently corrected the report. Then Sheryl Derting put together a budget and expenditure report for
Billy. So, since the very first performa I did not release reports that I can remember. When Tom was appointed accountant
for the project I discontinuedthe accounting balancing spreadsheet because the document was not being used and the °~
formulas between SAMTD and Marion Couniy were changing.
I reallywish I had a better answer. I will readdress the task if any one of you wantto give me a new direction. Perhaps,
Craig Lewis may Imow who and how that number was determined. Let me Iviow what I can do.
CC: BWasson
