5.23 Compliance with Tax Laws <br />ORS 305.385(6) states: <br />No contract or other agreement for the purpose of providing goods, services or real estate space to <br />any agency shall be entered into, renewed or extended with any person, unless the person certifies in <br />writing under penalty of pe~jury, that the person is, to the best of the person's knowledge, not in <br />violation of any tax laws described in ORS 305.380(4). <br />By signature on this contract, CONTRACTOR hereby swears/affirms, under penalry of perjury as <br />provided in ORS 350.385(6), that to the best of CONTRACTOR's knowledge CONTRACTOR is not in <br />violation of any of the tax laws described in ORS 305.380(4). <br />5.24 Goveming Law: Venue <br />This contract shall be govemed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon. <br />Any claim, action, suit between DISTRICT and CONTRACTOR that arises out of or relates to <br />perforrnance of this contract shall be brought and conducted solely and exclusively within the Circuit <br />Court of Marion County for the State of Oregon.
