~ <br />NEUDORFER ENGINEERS, INC. <br /> <br />GENERAL STATEMENT OF THE FIRM <br />In 1970, the firm of R.F. Neudorfer and Associates was established as a professionally qualified Mechanical <br />Engineering and Test and Balance organization. In 1980, the firm incorporated and the name was changed to <br />Neudorfer Engineers, Inc. <br />The test and balance services offered included air and hydronic systems, sound and vibration-level <br />measurement of heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment. <br />SERVICES PROVIDED <br />AIR BALANCING <br />Balancing of the air distribution system and adjustment of the air moving devices according to Sheet Metal and <br />Air Conditioning contractors National Association (SMACNA) and the National Environmental Balancing Bureau <br />(NEBB) standards. <br />HYDRONIC BALANCING <br />Balancing the water side of the heating and air conditioning systems, including pumps, coils chillers, heat <br />exchangers, cooling towers, condensing units and boilers. <br />SOUND-LEVEL READINGS <br />Sound-level measurement with and without equipment running, to determine speech interference, hazards to <br />hearing and machinery troubleshooting. <br />VIBRATION CONTROL <br />Vibration measurement and dynamic balancing of rotating equipment to reduce noise generation and extend the <br />life of the equipment. <br />CERTIFICATION <br />Neudorfer Engineers, Inc. is certified by the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB). The certification <br />includes air, hydronic, sound and vibration measurement, building commissiornng and cleanrooms. <br />PLAN REVIEW <br />Neudorfer Engineers, Inc. reviews plans during the final design phases for air volume damper and hydronic <br />metering valve, and pump pressure gauge locations. <br />FIELD INSPECTION/COMMISSIONING <br />Field inspection to insure the air and hydronic systems are installed correctly per the design documents, during <br />the construction phase. <br />
