Salem Area Mass Transit District/Marion County IFB 00-03 5 <br />TAB Services <br />2) BIDDING DOCUMENTS <br />2) Copies <br />2) Selected Bidders will receive from the Owner, complete sets of the <br />Bidding Documents. <br />2) A Bidder receiving a Contract award may retain the Bidding Documents <br />and additional sets will be supplied for his use during the contract term. <br />Complete sets of Bidding Documents shall be used in preparing Bids; the <br />Owner shall not assume any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations <br />resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents. When <br />plans are included in Addenda, the superseded sheets must be returned <br />to the Owner before Bid Opening. The Owner by making copies of the <br />Bidding Documents available on the above terms, do so only for the <br />purpose of obtaining Bids on the work and do not confer a license or <br />grant for any other use. <br />2) INTERPRETATION OR CORRECTION OF BIDDING DOCUMENTS <br />2) Bidders shall promptly notify the Owner of any ambiguity, inconsistency or error <br />which they may discover upon examination of the Bidding Documents or of the <br />Site and Local Conditions. Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the <br />Documents shall make a request to reach Owner, at least (5) five working days <br />prior to the date for receipt of Bids. <br />2) Any interpretation, correction or change of the Bidding Documents will be made <br />by Addendum. Interpretations, corrections or changes of the Bidding Documents <br />made in any other manner will not be binding and Bidders shall not rely upon <br />such interpretations, corrections and changes. <br />2) ADDENDA <br />2) Addenda will be mailed or delivered to all who are known by the Owner to have <br />received a complete set of Bidding Documents. No persons receiving partial sets <br />shall be provided with Addenda. Copies of addenda will be made available for <br />inspection wherever Bidding Documents are on file for that purpose. No addenda <br />will be issued later than three working days prior to the date for receipt of Bids <br />except an Addendum withdrawing the request for Bids or one postponing the date <br />for receipt of Bids. <br />2) Each bidder shall ascertain prior to submitting his Bid that he has received and <br />reviewed all Addenda issued and he shall acknowledge their receipt in his Bid. <br />2) FORM AND STYLE OF BIDS <br />2) Bids shall be submitted on the forms provided by the Owner. All blanks on the <br />Bid Form shall be filled in by typewriter or manually in ink. Where so indicated by <br />the makeup of the Bid Form, sums shall be expressed in both words and figures <br />
