1. Please describe your trustee operations and describe how you would provide services
for this engagement. Include personnel assigned to this account.
Our Seattle office will be responsible for the administration of the trust relationship, including
investments and daily transactions. Our senior staff of relationship managers would act as your
contact to handle any questions on the day-to-day cash, investments, requisitions, statements and
payment of debt service. Michael.Iones will be the primary Relationship Manager, acting as
liaison to coordinate the functions of supporting departments. Joan Jeffery will be backup. We
have found that this is preferable to our clients as they can always rely on a familiar person for
assistance. Michael and Joan Jeffrey, Senior Trust Officer are responsible for following through
with instructions and resolving day-to-day needs which arise. Michael Jones is a Vice President
and Relationship Manager. Michael has over 11 years corporate trust experience and is a
Certified Corporate Trust Specialist, CCTS. Joan is currently the Relationship Manager for
several Oregon Housing deals and will bring significant experience to the administration of this
issue.
The following functions will be performed in Seattle:
• Insure compliance with covenants under the Indenture/Resolution
• Comply with governing legal documents
• Investment of funds
• Maintain correspondence files
• On-line access with internet availability
The Re;istrar a~zd Payin~gent functions are performed through our Dallas operations at 1201
Main Street, Dallas, TX 75202. This area handles the following:
• Establish and maintain bond register
• Maintenance of holder accounts, including taxpayer ID numbers
• Disbursement of Principal and Interest payments
• Process stop payments, stop transfer orders, issue replacement checks & certificates
The securities processing/operational facility for the entire Chase Global Trust Services
organization is centrally located in Dallas, Texas. It is staffed by 175 individuals responsible for
all aspects of bond paying agent, transfer and registrar services and bondholder communications
for the simplest to the most camplex securities issues seen in the marketplace. This group
provides over 99% compliance (90% required) with SEC guidelines for processing
turnaround times. This translates to bondholder satisfaction with transactions.
No discussion of our relationship team would be complete without mentioning our Bondholder
Customer Service unit. We know that everything we do in serving your bondholders reflects
back on you. After all, it is your name on the bonds they have purchased. That is why we are
emphatic about providing exceptional personnel and technological resources for this portion of
the relationship.
Bondholders would call our toll free (800) number to receive information on the status of
payments and redemptions. All other contact will be through the Relationship
Manager.
