Operational and Organizational Efficiencies <br />A) 1% Reduction in all County Budgets <br />B) Combining deparhnents will generate savings in services. <br />2. Graduated Rental Adjustments (Blended) <br />3. Obtain F~nding for Partially ~nded or Unfunded Sfate Mandates <br />At the next legislative session, Marion County with the collaboration of the Association <br />of Oregon Counries will request that the state create a fully funded State Court System, <br />and pay for their own facilities. Marion County pays on an annual basis $500,000 per <br />year for Circuit and Dislrict Court space from property tax dollars that could othenvise <br />be spent on local services. <br />Estimated Savings to Marion County on an ongoing annual basis <br />°from Courts if fully funded, approximately: $500,000 <br />Esrimates savings to Marion County from Assessor <br />on annual basis: <br />Estimated savings to Marion County from District Attomey <br />on annual basis: 7-- ._. <br />4.
