ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS <br />FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION LABORATORY TESTING & INSPECTION SERVICES <br />Marion County and Sa1em Area Mass Transit District are soliciting proposals to provide construction <br />laboratory testing and inspection services related to the Courthouse Square development in Salem, Oregon. <br />This project is funded in part by Federal Transit Administration grants. <br />Proposals will be received by Salem Area Mass Transit District, 3140 Del Webb Ave., Salem, Oregon, <br />97303-4165 until 4:00 PM PST, March 26, 1999. Proposals submitted must be in a 9" x 12" manilla <br />envelope which is plainly marked with the proposer's name and address and "Proposal for Construction <br />Laboratory Testing & Inspection Services for Courthouse Square: March 26, 1999 4:00 PM". <br />Proposers may obtain copies of the request for proposal, along with general conditions, specifications, and <br />FTA contract requirement documents from Sa1em Area Mass Transit District, 3140 Del Webb Ave. Salem, <br />Oregon 97303-4165, phone: (503) 588-2424. Please submit proposals for the work on the form <br />furnished with the proposal documents. Contract Construction Documents are available for review at <br />Arbuckle Costic Architects, Inc., 363, State Street, Salem, Oregon 97301-3533. <br />The successful proposer shall meet the insurance requirements of ORS 30.270 before a contract is <br />executed. <br />Proposal may be rejected for not complying with all prescribed public contracting procedures and <br />requirements, as outlined in Oregon Revised Statues - Chapter 279, Public Contracts and Purchasing, or <br />for good cause upon finding that it is in the public interest to do so. <br />Proposals received after the time set for submission will not be considered. No proposer may withdraw <br />their proposal within thirty (30) days after the time set for opening.
