2.5 Item 4-copy of respirator program. <br />2.6 Item 7-copies of necessary permits. <br />2.7 Item 8-evidence that permits have been obtained <br />regarding transport and disposal of demolition <br />materials and related information. <br />2.8 Item 9-submission of an environmental protection <br />plan. <br />A written recycling/salvage plan is to be submitted <br />as well. <br />Within these items are significant issues to be finalized <br />such as shoring techniques, timing of sections of the <br />project, agreement on the recycling/salvage plan and a <br />designated completion date. <br />In the interest of time, we are willing to accept a <br />phased work plan specifically addressing the above issues <br />and all other pertinent items included in the <br />specifications and other materials of the contract <br />starting with demolition of the Community Development <br />building and continuing to the Liu building. This plan <br />should be received by me by 8:00 am on Tuesday, May 27th. <br />All written submissions for the rest of the project are <br />due no later 5:00 pm June 3rd. <br />A meeting is requested with your project staff at 1:30 on <br />Tuesday May 27th, in the Risk Management office at the <br />Courthouse, 5th floor, to discuss your attention to these <br />matters. <br />We do not want work to begin until we have approved the <br />work plan starting with the Community Development <br />building and that you have submitted the other related <br />items specified above and we have had time to approve <br />them. <br />We still expect that the project <br />Friday, August 8, 1997.
