Staton,
This letter is to express concern that several
contractual issues, which were to be completed prior to
the start of the demolition project, do not appear to
have been done. I would appreciate your review of the
status of the project regarding the following:
1. At Section 400, item # 4 a reference is made that the
Contractor shall submit a work schedule 10 days prior to
start of job and shall be approved by the Owner/Agent.
This has not been received.
2. At Section 1313, item l.l are several requirements to
be completed prior to beginning work. There is no
evidence that any of the items have been completed.
Examples include the following list.
2.1 A survey was to be done with the Owner/Agent and a
report written for each building to address:
2.2 Item 1-condition of surfaces not to be altered.
2.3 Item 2-designation of work space, material storage.
2.4 Item 3-one week prior to beginning work Contractor
shall provide a detailed written, project-specific
work plan signed by a professional for review and
approval by Owner/Agent. This plan is to include
the number of workers assigned to given work areas,
sequence and details of operation and anticipated
duration at work areas.
Marion County Cou~thouse • 100 High St. N.E. • Salem, Oregon 97301
N
