I have numbered the line items to refled the list prepared by
Randy Curtis, dated June 2, 1999, and reflecting slight modifications to that list received June 9 and 10"'.
The spreadsheet's will show the net effect a change has on the overail construdion projed. One
spreadsheet shows additive and deductive construction cost based on the same $23.00/S.F. rate. Since I
am concemed that Pence/Kelly may not necessarily see it that way, the second spreadsheet discounts the
credit values so that additive T.I. costs are set at $23.00/S.F. while deductive T.I costs are set at $16.00/S.F.
I have not put a fee or construdion cost value on the work required for the mail Room if it were relocated
to the Franklin Building. While the T.1. design fee may be consistent, the construdion cost could vary
considerably.
Finally, noises have been made about negotiating both design fees and constniction costs following the
B.O.C.'s approval to proceed, We may anticipate a modest r+eduction in the fee amount required to facilitate
the changes to Support Services but consider the balance of the fee cost already represents our best
numbers.
Should you have any questions concerning the attached, please call.
Sincerely ~
er, A.I.A.
Architect
LL:gnv
cc:
9828.3A
~
