Hard costs are further <br />defined, within the documents, as "hard construction cost (labor and materials and general <br />contractor's overhead and profit)." <br />In the parlance of the Federal Transit Administration, the hard cost as defined within the <br />DistrictlArchitect contract documents is more commonly referred to as "price." <br />For the purposes of the District's agreement with the architect, and in all subsequent <br />dealings on the Courthouse Square project between the District, the architect, and the <br />Federal Transit Administration, the parties agree the project's "price," the project's "hard <br />costs" and "hard construction cost," shall have the same meaning and effect, to wit: the <br />general contractor's labor, materials, overhead, and profit. <br />FOR TI~ DISTRICT: <br />FOR MARION COUNTY: <br />FOR ARBUCKLE COSTIC ARCHITECTS: <br />John~~ 'ttington, Project Coordinator <br />
