THIS PLAN REVIEW was completed by J TRUSSELL ON 6-16-99, <br /> This plan was reviewed under the 1996 Edition of the State <br /> of Oregon One and Two Family Dwelling Specialty Code. <br />2. Approval of submitted plans is not an approval of omissions <br /> or oversights by this office or of noncompliance with any <br /> applicable regulations of local government, <br />4, GROUNDING ELECTRODES. When concrete reinforcing bars are <br /> installed in concrete footings, the following requirements <br /> shall be met to provide for a grounding electrode system: <br /> 1. Uncoated No. 4 reinforcing bar installed not less <br /> 20 feet in length encased with a minimum of 2 inches of <br /> concrete. <br /> 2, An uncoated No. 4 reinforcing bar stubbed up at least <br /> 12 inches above the floor plate line and tightly attached to <br /> the reinforcing bar located in the footing. The spliced lap <br /> of the staubbed up bar to the footing shall be a minimum of <br /> 12 inches, (See Section 4108.1.2) [Sec, 403.4] <br />5. BP, ABP, PF. This structure uses a combination of Brace <br /> Wall Panels (BP). Alternate Braced Wall Panels (ABP), and a <br /> Portal Frame to meet the code requirements for lateral wall <br /> bracing. Insure that all BP;s and ABP's and Portal Frames <br /> are located as indicated on the plans and constructed as <br /> shown. <br />6. TRUSS DESIGN. Roof trusses are required to be be designed by <br /> an Oregon registered Engineer or Architect. For trusses <br /> manufactured by an approved fabrication plant, have the <br /> design and layout drawings available at the construction <br /> site for the framing inspection, All jobsite cutting or <br /> modifications of the roof trusses shall be clearly shown in <br /> the engineer's design calculations and drawings. <br />7. SAFETY GLAZING / AT DOOR. The following shall be considered <br /> specific hazardous locations for the purposes of glazing: <br /> Glazing, in an individual fixed or operable panel <br /> adjacent to a door where the nearest vertical edge is <br /> within a 24 inch arc of the door in a closed position <br /> and whose bottom edge is less than 60 inches above <br /> the floor or walking surface, Exception: Safety <br /> glazing is not required when there is an intervening <br /> wall or other permanent barrier between the door and <br /> the glazing. <br />8. THE GAPJNGE shall be separated from the dwelling and its <br /> attic area by means of 1/2 inch gypsum board applied to the <br /> garage side of the wall. Where the separation is a floor- <br /> ceiling assembly, the structure supporting the separation <br /> shall be protected by 1/2 inch gypsum board or equivalent. <br /> The door between the garage and residence shall be equipped <br /> with solid wood doors not less than 1 3/8 inches in thick- <br /> ness or 20-minute fire-rated, or equivalent, <br /> [Sec. 309,1, 309,2] <br />9, EVERY SLEEPING ROOM shall have at least one openable window <br /> or exterior door approved for emergency egress or rescue. <br /> The window sill height shall not be more than 44 inches <br /> above the floor. The minimum net clear opening is 5,7 square <br /> feet, The minimum net clear opening height shall be 22 <br /> inches. The minimum net clear opening width shall be 20 <br /> inches. Exception: Grade floor windows may have a minimum <br /> <br /> <br />
